Official Contest & Competition Rules

1. Sponsor and Organiser

All contests, hackathons, skill challenges, coding competitions, leaderboard events, and sweepstakes (collectively, "Contests") hosted on the Techsnap platform are organised, operated, and sponsored exclusively by Techsnap Agentic AI Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, with its registered office in Hyderabad, Telangana, India (hereinafter referred to as the "Organiser" or "Techsnap").

⚠️ Apple Inc. is not a sponsor, co-organiser, or participant in any Contest hosted on the Techsnap platform and has no involvement in the administration, judging, prize fulfilment, or any other aspect of any Contest. Apple Inc. bears no responsibility whatsoever in connection with any Contest conducted by Techsnap.

2. Specific Contest Formats and Prize Schedule

Techsnap currently operates the following recurring Contests. Each Contest is governed by these Official Rules in addition to any Contest-specific announcement published on the Platform.

Prize amounts are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR). Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes or levies on prize money under Indian law. Techsnap reserves the right to modify prize amounts, contest frequency, or prize structure at any time with reasonable notice.

4. Eligibility

• Contests are open to registered users of the Techsnap platform who are 13 years of age or older at the time of participation.
• Users under 18 years of age must have verifiable parental or guardian consent to participate in any Contest that offers monetary prizes.
• Employees, contractors, directors, and officers of Techsnap Agentic AI Private Limited and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in prize-bearing Contests.
• Participants must comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws in their jurisdiction. Techsnap reserves the right to disqualify any participant who is ineligible under applicable law.
• Where Contests are restricted to specific institutions, cohorts, or geographic regions, additional eligibility criteria will be clearly stated in the Contest-specific announcement.

5. Contest Period

Each Contest will have a defined start date and time and an end date and time, which will be published in the Contest-specific announcement on the Platform. Techsnap reserves the right to extend, shorten, suspend, or cancel any Contest at any time, at its sole discretion, with or without notice, if circumstances beyond its control so require (including technical failures, fraud, or regulatory requirements). Entries received outside the Contest period will not be accepted.

6. How to Enter

• To enter a Contest, participants must complete the designated activity (e.g., solving a coding challenge, submitting a hackathon project, completing a skill assessment) within the Contest period via the Techsnap platform at app.techsnap.in or the Techsnap mobile application.
• No purchase is necessary to enter or win any Contest. A free Techsnap account is sufficient for participation unless specifically stated otherwise.
• Participants may enter each Contest only once unless the Contest rules expressly allow multiple attempts, in which case only the highest-scoring valid attempt will be considered.
• Entries must be the original work of the participant. Plagiarism, use of AI-generated solutions (unless expressly permitted), or any other form of academic dishonesty will result in immediate disqualification.

7. Scoring, Judging, and Leaderboards

• Contest entries will be evaluated based on criteria specified in the Contest-specific announcement, which may include accuracy, efficiency, code quality, time taken, creativity, or other relevant metrics.
• For algorithmic or coding challenges, scoring is automated by Techsnap's assessment engine. For hackathons or project-based Contests, a panel of judges appointed by Techsnap will evaluate entries based on published judging criteria.
• Leaderboard and Public Score Display: By participating in any Contest, you expressly consent to your username and score being uploaded to Techsnap's servers and displayed on a public or participant-restricted leaderboard accessible to other platform users. This is a core feature of the competitive experience. You may request removal of your display name from the leaderboard by contacting support@techsnap.in; however, your entry will remain part of the Contest record for integrity and audit purposes.
• Techsnap's decisions regarding scoring, judging, and prize allocation are final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of any Contest.

8. Prizes

• Prizes for each Contest will be described in the Contest-specific announcement. Prizes may include cash awards, platform credits, premium subscription upgrades, digital badges, certificates, merchandise, or other items as specified.
• Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable unless expressly stated. No cash alternative will be offered in substitution for a prize unless Techsnap, at its sole discretion, determines that an alternative is necessary.
• Winners will be notified via the email address or platform notification associated with their Techsnap account within the timeframe specified in the Contest announcement. Failure to claim a prize within the specified period will result in forfeiture.
• Techsnap reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the original prize is unavailable due to circumstances beyond its control.
• All applicable taxes, duties, or levies on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner.

9. Intellectual Property

Participants retain ownership of their original submissions. By submitting an entry, participants grant Techsnap a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, reproduce, and share their submission for the purposes of administering the Contest, marketing the Contest and the Platform, and showcasing winning entries. Techsnap will credit the participant where feasible.

10. Disqualification

Techsnap reserves the right to disqualify any participant who:

• Violates these Official Contest Rules or the Techsnap Terms of Service;
• Engages in cheating, plagiarism, collusion, or any form of dishonest conduct;
• Attempts to manipulate, hack, or interfere with the Platform's systems or scoring mechanisms;
• Provides false or misleading information during registration or entry;
• Is ineligible under Section 2 of these rules.

11. Privacy and Data Use

Personal data collected in connection with a Contest (including name, email address, and performance scores) will be processed in accordance with Techsnap's Privacy Policy. By participating, you consent to the collection and use of your data for Contest administration, prize fulfilment, leaderboard display, and Contest-related communications.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Techsnap, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and partners shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or disappointment suffered by any participant in connection with any Contest, including but not limited to: loss of winnings due to technical errors; failure to receive prize notification due to spam filters; or inability to participate due to device or connectivity issues. Techsnap makes no warranties regarding the uninterrupted operation of the Platform during any Contest period.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Official Contest Rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising in connection with a Contest shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Techsnap encourages participants to contact support@techsnap.in to resolve disputes informally before initiating legal proceedings.

14. Modifications

Techsnap reserves the right to modify these Official Contest Rules at any time. Updates will be published at techsnap.in/contest-rules. Continued participation in any Contest after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised rules.
